Audrey turned 3 on Monday. I can't believe how fast time has gone! It's been so precious. We celebrated by eating a cupcake for breakfast, getting her balloon and crown at Toys R Us with Aunt Nancy, having lunch with Grandaddy, Grandmomma, and Uncle Pete at El Fenix (she LOVES chips and salsa...and the Mexican Polka!), took a great nap, woke up to go to Baskin Robbins for her free scoop, came home and watched some Peppa Pig before Daddy came home so we had family dinner at Chick-fil-a. Pretty great birthday.
The celebration gets to continue this weekend. We're having her party at Heritage Park in Irving on Saturday morning. Should be fun. She will have 3 little friends there, so that will be good. I just finished up her cake. I hope it doesn't fall on me! Yikes, that thing is heavy. My friend Kristina made a Dumbo dress for her since it is a 3-ring circus theme. It turned out so cute. I will post pictures later.
So I think Audrey has OCD. Seriously. I didn't really even think about that, until one of my cafemom friend's posted about how her son likes to take tp off the roll and stuff like that and went on to say that she had him evaluated, but they think all that's wrong is OCD. Audrey likes to do that sort of thing too, so I did some googling and found that she does quite a bit of those behaviors. But I am also pretty sure her Daddy and one of her uncles has OCD as well, so at least she comes by it honestly. It would explain a lot. I still need to take her to an ENT, because of concerns of her speech. She goes in for her 3 year appointment on Monday. Maybe then I will get some answers.
